Jewish
tradition teaches:
‘Haverim Kol Yisrael’ – ‘All of the Jewish People Are Friends’
Is it
true? … Can it become true? … Is it a good thing?
How would
it affect me? … Would it change the Jewish People?
What would
Israel mean to me? … How could it affect the World?
We want to make it true … and we hope that You want
to make it true, too…
and so we have created a program to help
Make the Dream A Reality

Haverim Kol Yisrael
Creating
new friendships, real friendships, with Fellow Jews is an easy, enjoyable, and
positive way to improve the state of our lives individually, as well as a
people.
Tradition
and history teach that baseless hatred among Jews caused great destruction,
including the destruction of the Bet Hamikdash, the Temple.
We believe
that loving each other, and demonstrating love and friendship to each other
freely and openly can help create a Messianic like experience of life. The
vision of the ‘good life’ is one of peace, love, and harmony in the world.
Perhaps,
one of the most important and most enjoyable Mitzvot – commandments – is:
V’ahavta L’rayacha Kamocha
Most
translations say it means ‘Love Your Neighbor As Yourself’
We
respectfully offer the following interpretation:
V’ahavta – and you
shall love
L’rayacha – direct
that love towards your neighbor (friend or other)
Kamocha – because
s/he is like yourself
